Beta Club

The National Beta Club at Unidos Dual Language School Elementary Chapter is a prestigious organization that recognizes students for their academic excellence, leadership, character, and service. Scholars are recommended for membership based on demonstrated strengths in at least three key BETA traits: leadership, academic achievement (A/B Honor Roll or a 3.5–4.0 GPA), character, and service. Guided by its mission to promote academic achievement, character, leadership, and service, the National Beta Club is one of the largest non-profit educational youth organizations in the nation. Members actively participate in service projects that foster personal growth and strengthen their commitment to the core values of the BETA organization.

Basketball and Cheerleading

Founded in 2003, the Unidos Elementary Band composed of fourth and fifth grade students is one of the only elementary level wind ensembles in Clayton County. The band meets several days a week after school to learn about technique, practice and ensemble performance of flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet and trombone. Thanks to individual’s generous donations of musical instruments, the band continues to provide Unidos students with an elementary introduction to musical performance
Fundada en 2003, la Banda Musical Primaria Unidos compuesta por estudiantes de cuarto y quinto grado es uno de los únicos conjuntos eólicos de nivel elemental en el Condado de Clayton. La banda se reúne varios días a la semana después de la escuela para aprender sobre la técnica, la práctica y la interpretación en conjunto de flauta, clarinete, saxofón, trompeta y trombón. Gracias a las generosas donaciones individuales de instrumentos musicales, la banda continúa proporcionando a los estudiantes de Unidos una introducción elemental a la interpretación musical.
